About EatAndAchieve

Free, data-driven nutrition comparisons β€” no accounts, no paywalls, no fads.

🎯 Our Mission

Nutrition information should be simple, free, and trustworthy. EatAndAchieve lets you compare any two foods side by side β€” calories, protein, vitamins, minerals, all 31 tracked nutrients β€” so you can make informed choices that match your goals, whether that's building muscle, losing weight, or just eating a bit healthier.

Content System

EatAndAchieve Editorial System

AI-assisted editorial system

This content is assembled from USDA FoodData Central data, in-house ranking logic, and reusable editorial templates to make nutrition information easier to understand.

πŸ“Š Our Data

Every number on this site comes from the USDA FoodData Central database β€” the same source used by researchers, dietitians, and government agencies worldwide. We pull from both the Foundation and SR Legacy datasets, covering over 7,800 foods.

All values are per 100g edible portion, the international standard for nutrition comparison. We also support per-serving and per-ounce views where applicable.

🧭 How Content Gets Made

Pages on EatAndAchieve combine USDA source data, site-specific scoring logic, and AI-assisted drafting, then receive human review for clarity and methodology. They are educational tools, not medical advice.

1. Structured source data

Nutrition values come from USDA FoodData Central and are normalized so foods can be compared consistently.

2. Code-driven analysis

Rankings, comparisons, and article candidates are generated from site logic rather than invented nutrition claims.

3. Human review

Final pages are reviewed for clarity, tone, and methodology before they are published or promoted.

31 nutrients tracked per food β€” more than most nutrition apps.

βš™οΈ Our Methodology

When comparing foods, we don't just pick the one with β€œmore” of something. We consider calorie density β€” a food with more iron per 100g but 7x the calories isn't necessarily a better iron source. Our comparison engine normalizes nutrients per calorie when calorie densities differ significantly (more than 2x), preventing misleading raw-weight comparisons.

Our nutrition grading system scores foods from A+ to F based on a balanced formula weighing protein, fiber, vitamins, minerals, calorie density, saturated fat, sugar, and sodium.

πŸ“ Editorial Standards

We aim to be useful before we aim to be clever. The site focuses on explainable comparisons, plain-English summaries, and repeatable ranking logic instead of dramatic nutrition claims.

We are comfortable saying when a page is AI-assisted, when a food has tradeoffs, and when a question depends on context rather than one universal answer.

We do not treat these pages as medical advice, and we do not claim clinical review where it does not exist.

⚠️ What We're Not

  • Not medical advice. The information here is educational. Always consult a healthcare professional before making significant dietary changes.
  • Not a food tracking app. We're a reference tool, not a daily calorie counter. For meal logging, use a dedicated app alongside our comparisons.
  • Not sponsored by any food brand. We have no affiliation with any food manufacturer. Our comparisons are purely data-driven.

πŸ› οΈ How It's Built

EatAndAchieve is a statically generated site β€” every page is pre-built for speed and reliability. No servers to slow you down, no spinners while data loads. The entire site (over 15,000 pages) is served from a global CDN, meaning sub-second load times worldwide.
